How do I compose faced with Inattentiveness? Here are some software and self-management techniques I have been using that has helped to keep my interest in my research and my daily life on track.
· Brain in Hand is a digital self-management support system for people who need help remembering things, making decisions, planning, or managing anxiety. It's not condition-specific, but is often used by people who are autistic
· Bite size chunks and switching activities
· Weekly check-ins with my supervisor
· Mind mapping tools like Xmind, allow me to plan out my projects and daily tasks.
· Written schedules help me decide on my day-to-day activities and allows me time to plan around my research
· Mindfulness exercises helps to keep control of my thought processes and stops my mind from wondering away from the current task
